Recirculatory Aquaculture System
(RAS)/Biofloc is a technology adopted for aquaculture wherein water is recycled and reused after filtration and removal of suspended matter and metabolites. The method is used for high-density culture of various species of fish utilizing minimum land area.
Our Scope of Work
Our Scope of work shall include designing, detailing, drawing, supply, erection, commissioning of project. The system Comprises of various units listed as Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical. Clients will be trained during the first crop cycle for operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Design Parameter
Fish Tank Capacity start from from 90 KL and Number of Fish Tank minimum 3 to maximum 8 nos as per available area/ design.
Our design suitable for Culture period/cycle 8-12 months wit h Stocking capacity up to 5 ton. .
Fish Species :- Barramundi ,Cobia (Rachycentron canadum), Silver/Indian Pompano (Trichinotus Blochii/ Trichinotus mookalee), Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), Pearl spot/Karimeen (Etroplus suratensis), Pangasius (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus), Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), especially in Hilly/cold water Region,
The system is based on Active Recirculation of 12 hrs cycle. Air purging is proposed to maintain DO level 6-8 ppm.
